The New Essentials
Whilst our lives have changed dramatically in the past few months, so has what we deem to be essential. (Hint, it's no longer your favourite lipstick). Here's an edit of the lockdown must-haves that were made for our new normal.
Just launched and perfect for park life
Yes, we've been blessed with a fairly sunny lockdown, but UV rays = no. 1 cause of skin damage and wrinkles. PLUS, UV impacts skin from light (not heat!), so despite feeling you may only need protection when there's a heatwave, SPF is a really important product to use all year round.
Protect your skin from premature ageing and burning with Day Defence, our new SPF 30 moisturiser. It provides broad spectrum physical protection from natural zinc oxide. Paired with aloe, buriti and shea butter, it's lightweight, moisturising and absorbs quickly. The best bit? It's non-comedogenic (meaning it won't clog your pores) and won't leave a white cast on your skin.
What's more essential than anti-bac?
Apart from a face mask, we're not sure. Formulated with 65% alcohol, Clean Hands is the pocket-sized moisturising sanitizer with a difference. Glycerin and lavender leave hands calm and soft, rather than red raw. It's a handy no-rinse spray, so you can effectively reduce bacteria on your skin whilst using public transport or out and about. Housed in our signature glass bottles at £5.50, it's a great gift too.
The working from home skin saviour
Whilst our screen time has gone through the roof and we're living our lives digitally, the increase in blue light can cause skin to become weakened and discoloured. Protect your skin with Blueberry Booster, which helps absorb and disperse blue light from screens and the sun. This Booster is made from 100% cold pressed blueberry seed oil, a by-product of the juicing industry that would have otherwise gone to waste. It's completely safe to use when pregnant and breastfeeding, but we'd always recommend patch testing any new products.
