Manufacturing

All BYBI products are made in the UK. It’s typical in beauty to work with third-party manufacturers who actually produce your products.

We ensure ALL of our manufacturers adhere to the following:

• A stringent recycling policy.
• Memberships to organisations such as Sedex who help to provide supply chain transparency around environmental and ethical impact.
• That they meet National Living Wage requirements and demonstrate the fair treatment of all staff
• They demonstrate a strict ethical trading policy with their suppliers that ensures staff welfare, fair pay, rights and working conditions for their staff and any contractors that they work with.

However, working with third parties will never give us the full visibility that we need to ensure our products are manufactured with the lowest environmental impact. It’s for this reason that we are currently testing an in-house process for our Blueberry Booster in our London-based lab. This allows us to fully control the water, energy and ultimately carbon emissions associated with the production of that product. We also hire people from local communities, ensure fair wage and working conditions, and produce in smaller sizes which reduces our waste. It’s a small step for now but we have longer term plans to roll this out further. Watch this space.
